Hi
I am new to Reporting Services. My database is in SQL server 2000. Are SQL server 2000 Reporting Services compatiable with VS 2005? From where I can download SQL server 2000 Reporting Services developer edition. I am having licensed sql server 2000.
Any help please. Thanks in Advance

SSRS 2000 is not compatible with VS2005 you need VS 2003. There used to be some 3rd party products that allowed you to develop SSRS 2000 reports and some were free, you might want to google for them.

You can use a SQL 2000 database as your source data for 2005 and 2008 SSRS solutions... The free express editions include some SSRS functionality. You might look to develop a solution using one of the express editions pointing to a 2000 datasource. They should allow you better functionality than the 2000 edition of SSRS.
