hi ALL, i have a strange situation, there is few people who is not able to load data from sql server using dsn file. I have used correct method, i have used odbc driver -sqlserver... i believe every thing should be fine. I have check the access permission for that user. that is not the issue. when i was helpin to that person what i see, he import using dsn file.... it takes a while it just bring header name( column name) but there is no data, i tried using excess database and excel both same issue no error message just return header information. if i use same dsn file it work for me and also for other people as well only few people is having this issue. i am kind of blind can't tell where the problem is. is that issue from clinat's machine, security ? help me figuer out the issue.. please

I think this might be the problem of software versions.

Hi,
I think you are having different obdc versions installed on different machines and try to upgrade to the latest version. And I think you can check out the root cause with tracing available in ODBC or sql profiler.

i checked the version of sql server odbc driver it has the current one on the client. but there was no sql native client, i refered to install sql native client. Is that better to use sql native client ? i am not even sure yet if it worked or not..
