tally to sql

    iam using sql server 2005.

    (i can convert tally data to xml and import into sql )

    but... is there any option to get tally data from sql directly???? (much like linked server).....

    help me!!!!!!!!!

    Don't know because we can't see the "Tally Data". There's lot's of ways to "see" file data as if it were a "linked server", but it depends, a lot, on the format of the data.

    If you can and it doesn't contain anyone's personal information, attach the file you're trying to "see".

    There are wizards in SSMS for importing and exporting data. They create basic SSIS packages, which might help you.
