I tried the spell check for the first time today. Apparently I really can't speel because the tags, the if code, the urls, the smileys and sql server all return errors. Looks like I need to spell check a few of the messages I posted here :w00t:.

I too tried the spell check for the first time today. It appears to catch the spelling mistakes, but I have no idea where to go from there as the spell check window is sized so that buttons are cut-off from view. I can see the left-most 1/8 of the buttons, but not enough to read what they do. I am unable to manually re-size the spell check window. 🙁

This one just got upgraded to bug level!
Thanks for the feedback.

John, can you post a screenshot and I'll add this to the list.
FYI, if you have Office 2007, I get misspelled words in forms underlined in Red. Kind of cool.
At least I think it's O2007 that's doing it.

I am working from my home office today and the spell check window looks fine from my home box, but when I go back and look at my laptop, the problem remains. I tried to adjust my screen resolution to match my home screen to no avail. This is probably a setting problem on my end but it sure would be nice to know where to start looking as spll czech is bery impotent to meez. By the way, how do I attach a screen shot?

On the post screen where you type, there are sections below the "Post, Spell ChecK, Preview" buttons. One is called "Post Options". I believe it's closed by default, but if you click the Plus in the right corner, it will open and there's an "Edit Attachments" section where you can upload something.
I'll attach one now

Heh... when are you going to get to all the things I sent you, Steve?

Most things are on the list. It's a question of priorities and resources, both of which are limited right now. Some changes coming tomorrow (fingers crossed) and then we'll look at another release next week.

I have not had an issue with spell check since the new web site was rolled out. I tried it the first day and have used it twice today. I must admit that the only 'fancy stuff' I use is an occasional smiley .
Here's what I am using:
XP SP2 - fully patched as of Friday night (10/5)
Office 2K3 SP3
IE7 - fully patched as of Friday night (10/5)
Note: I am usually never more than 7 days behind on patches 😀
The spell check on this post found my 2 errors, let me correct them and even ignored the 'smileys' !

The Firefox browser does that.
