Can any one tell me Is it neccessary to pass
After you create a query with parameters, Reporting Services automatically links query parameters to report parameters with the same name. New report parameters are added and modified by way of the Report Data pane.Is it neccessary to pass same name parameter of Store procedure with MSRS parameter.
Thanks,
Sonal

Depends on what you are trying to accomplish.
Are you placing your report on the reporting server (.rdl file) or locally within your application (.rdlc)?
I'm assuming you are dropping the reportviewer control within your application, are these parameters coming from other controls (i.e. textbox, drop down, session, etc) in your application?
Do you simply want to use the reportviewer control to handle the parameters? (I don't recommend, not flexible)
It is necessary for the parameters to match up based on the report file and your query or stored procedure.
What is not necessary is for you to display the parameter input in the report definition file.
If you have more questions let me know.
