Hi,
I need to run the same report for different timeframes (e.g. Monthly, Quarterly, YTD). I've set up the @timeframe parameter to get the correct start & end dates. I've had it so the dates are retrieved from either a query or a stored procedure. In either case, when I'm in the Dataset tab and input the @timeframe, the dates return correctly. The problem comes in when I get to the 'Preview' of the report. I'll select the @timeframe and the dates will populate the first time, but if I select a different timeframe, the dates don't change. In addition, when I put the report on our SharePoint site and set up subscriptions, the dates default to what were populated at the time I set up the subscription (they don't change & are essentially hard-coded).
Has anyone else come across a similar situation where your parameter values didn't update properly?
Any help would be most appreciated.
Thanks,
Michele

Nevermind. I figured it out. I needed to add the dates to the Available Values as well as the Default Values. Strange solution but it appears to be working.
