Hello all
we have a restore and backup issue. we are moving a server from a remote location to a location close by.
the problem is we need to come up with a best solution to keep the data sync with the old location after the first full back up.
there is no pipe connectivity between the 2 location. the first back up we physically moved it from the location a to location b and restored it.
we have a month to go before location b server goes hot.
the question is to find out best possible way to keep the data sync with the old location so before we go live we only have a very small data to restore.( small differential or small log.
any idea about it will be of great help
Thanks in advance

Once you have set up a full back up, make sure you have transaction log back up done at a certain interval. FTP those transaction log to the new location and keep restoring the log back up till you pull the plug. That would be the best bet.
