I have a BI Analyst that needs to setup jobs to process analysis cubes.
We use a proxy account so the job can access the analysis server.
What authority do I need to give my BI Analyst so he can setup a job that uses a proxy account.
Currently has access to:
Server role:
Public
MSDB database roles:
data reader
dtsadmin
dtsltduser
dtsoperator
public
sqlagentoperator
sqlagentReader
sqlagentUser
Proxy account has the group he belongs to as a proxy principal
Can setup a job but once he changes the step type to analysis command gets the following error
failed to retrieve data for request (useless)
then,
trans cannot be committed and cannot support oeprations that write to the log...
would like any ideas - thanks
