Where are the built-in performance reports stored? I have searched the C drive of the SQL server for .rdl files but can't find any. I have also looked in c:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Tools. The reports I'm looking for are Scheduler Health, Memory Consumption, Server Dashboard etc.

Thanks for the link. So where does SQL Server store these report definitions?

Its under the same directory where you installed performance dashboard reports. For me its under F drive performancedashboard folder.
Or
Search for performance_dashboard_main.rdl

I searched for *.rdl files and none were returned.

I'm using SSMS 2008, it came with a lot of Standard Reports
but if I try to open Custom Report, it looks under "My Documents"
but I am shocked search for *.rdl didn't find anything?
I would've guessed C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90 as well

As MarkusB indicated, the built-in reports (which you were originally asking about) are not stored on disk; Manu was referring to the performance dashboard reports which are a seperate download available here.

Hi,
I have a near question.
I'm searching for Scheduler Health 's rdl.
Does somebody knows where I can find Scheduler Health 's report ?
Because it displays a truncation error and I would like to correct it.
It is not part of the 20 Performance Dashboard Reports rdl.

I don't think this report is a part of standard reports.

Hi,
thank you for your answer.
As the report displayed normally since (without doing more than many refresh), I have not this need anymore.
