i run a job portal
i want to enable full text search for a particular column
coumn name is "jobdescription" its type is ntext

For the FullTextSearch... you actually enable the feature upon installation... so if you fail to enable it, I THINK you should reinstall your SQL Server Management Studio... this feature is included in express edition so if you dont have an installer, just search for it in the net.
Our SQL Management Studio in our company havent enabled the feature YET... that's why I lack in practice and info on how to use it...
but if you want some information on how to use or implement it, heres a great online video tutorial for yah...
