Import Excel File

    i want to make a stored procedure that can import excel, without using DTS, SSIS etc..

    Check out OpenRowset in Books Online. Has instructions for how to do this.

    Now I want to copy an specific rows or column of an excel file to a sql server database....... Thanks for the reply:)
