Calling VBScript or command file from within T-SQL without xp_cmdshell??

    Can someone give me a hint if it's, in any way, possible to call up a vbscript without using xp_cmdshell....and in that case how to do it

  • Take a look at CLR coding in SQL. Books Online has data on it. That might do what you need.

  • Helmut, since your relatively a "newbie", I'll be nice... there's really no quicker way to tick off the alumni on this forum than "duplicate posting". Just pick the correct forum and be patient.
