Reporting Service

    Hi everyone

    Could anyone tell me how to install the reporting service after initial instalation ?

    Is it possible , or do I need to re-install everything again ?

    For SQL 2005, goto control panel, Add/Remove Programs and select Change. You should see a link "To install a new component, click here". Click on the link and proceed with installing reporting services.

    For SQL 2000, simply run the setup program that comes with reporting services.

    ok thanks for that , with SQL 2000 I have looked about but could not see where that is ?

    I have inserted install cd and looked through there but could see nothing apparent for reporting services.

    would you know where the setup programme for only reporting services is within the CD ?

    For SQL 2000, there is a separate CD for reporting services. Ask your vendor for it or if you have access download it from technet.
