Weired Security Error

    I am trying to give a user access to just one table in 20 DB's by adding that table under securables and giving select option, it works gud on some of them but it doesnt work on the rest, gives permission error.

    The server principal "Statepausa\MLevan" is not able to access the database "PayEmp" under the current security context.

    Actually MLevan is a member in a windows group, i gave acce to the table for that group and also tried exclusively forthat member but still gives the same error.

    does that login have a mapped user in that database/
