    Hi Folks,

    I want to do transactional replication with a server that is outside out network. To make this happen do I just need to open 1433 on our firewall or should I use another port?

    'On another network' means on another domain over the internet?

    in this case you will be needing alot of netwrok configurations (probably VPN configuration) provided by your ISP.

    ok maybe that was a silly question. I would like to try a 1 more.

    can you replicate a read only subscriber?
