everybody, i have a question
i am a dba using sqlserver2005 ,and use sqlserver2005 relication and publish to backup data to another sqlserver2005 db ,but with time passed ,the db distribution was growing big and big ,i know the db maybe have some problems, i want to know ,how can i find the problem ,and how can i resolve it .
anybody can help me? thanks, btw,my english is pool.

Check the size of the data file and log file.
Recovery model should be SIMPLE.

i know the simple module can not record the trans log ,but the fact is not the logs , i find the db become biger and biger is bease of some tables ,i want to know if i can delete the records, or what records i can delete , thanks.

You likely have subscribers not picking up the updates, which is why the distributor is so large.
Replication Monitor should help you determine where the holdups are.

Is your distribution cleanup job working? Or do you have anonymous subscription enabled? It looks like your old data in msrepl_commands and msrepl_transactions are not being cleaned up.
What's your distribution transaction retention setting?
