SQL Server License and CALs

    Hi guys,

    We are looking to upgrade a SQL 2000 server to SQL 2005. Currently we have 70 device CALs and 1 server license for SQL 2000 Enterprise running on a 32 bit windows 2003 server. Do I have to also upgrade the 70 CALs from 2000 to 2005 or I can continue to use the existing 70 CALs after I upgrade the server to 2005?

    You have to upgrade the CAL's as well.
