Adding article to an existing publication

  Hi All,

  I have an existing publication and I want to add one table to it, without regenerating snapshot for all the article. I read in some article that I should use "sp_changearticle" after adding table to the publisher. But dont know how to use it.

  Also checked BOL but nothing much clear from there.

  Can anybdy help? I am using SQL server 2005 with SP2.

  can change existing articles (if DDL=1) or add new ones but won't automagically appear at each sub

  I find it convenient (to avoid the rip&replace) to add new table articles in their own pubs meantime

  then can merge the n pubs into 1 at quiet time (e.g. Sat) when can tolerate R&R

  should share DA using sp_addpublication @independent_agent = false to avoid overheads
