Hey guys,
I've been searching for a way to call a stored procedure directly from a SQL Server Reporting Services 2005 report from a user click. I've found documentation on adding a Custom Report Item to the report but I have been unsuccessful in finding a way for that report item to call a procedure. It seems that if there is a way to fire a click event from a control then calling the procedure would be no problem. Any help or information on the topic would be much appreciated.
Thanks for your time,
Randy

I actually just witnessed this in use. They added a link to a subreport that was actually the same report as they were in. What are you trying to do w/ the SP?

Trying to use the report as more of a work list. Having a user click a link (button etc) would fire a call to the SP that would make the appropriate changes to the record. I've been searching for a solid way of doing this without linking to a separate web page or web service that calls the SP. I have not been able to find any examples that uses any kind of user interaction to call the SP.
