Integration services in configuration manager

  • Hi All,

I had a look in the Configuration Manager and the only service using the "NT Authority\NetworkService" account is SQL Server Integration Services. All other services Sqlserver service, sqlagent service, browser service and Repoting services are running as ABC\Sqlservice

Is This Normal behaviour? or do I need change the integration services to ABC\Sqlservice?

  • You need a network-service account when the service needs to read from or write to a network location. When this is not required you can use a local account.
