Do you have SQL / SSIS installed on machine? in VS: Menu > Help > About. See intergration services there?

it hasnt got it there. do you have link to install ssis without sql server 2005. as i have installed 2008 now

You cannot install ssis without 2005. If you had installed SQL 2008, just install the SSIS components.

It depends on what licence you bought. You did buy a licence didn't you?
Dev is a connection limited version of ent.

Without going to deep, having the CD does not mean you have the licences.
Find out from whoever deals with licencing.
Technically though, install developer edition.
But you have 2008 installed. Use the dev version of that.

Hi All,
I'm getting below error when I'm trying to open an existing package in business development studio.
make sure the application for the project type (.dtproj) is installed
And getting below error when I'm trying to create new solution
object reference is not set an instance of an object
I googled it and found that I need to apply sp pack 1 or sp pack 2.
But I was not able to find it in the list of bugs fixed in these service packs...
Can anybody provide me any links that this a bug or some thing which has been fixed in these sp's or any other solutions for these error.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ram
