    Does anybody know of any companies that provide data mining plug-in algorithms for SQL Server 2005?

    Actually in SQL Server 2005 you don't need third party tools except for the special libraries, we used SAS for limits calculation for Pharma manufacturing.  Try the link below for Microsoft provided prediction modeling resources in SQL Server 2005.  Post your questions there Microsoft employees can help you.
