From SSMS -----VIEW-----TOOLBOX (Ctrl+Alt+X). The toolbox window pane appeared on the left side but after expanding Maintenance Plan Tasks, i see all under it grayed out like Pointer, Back up Dtabase Task etc. nothing is highlighted, i need help to configured why it is grayed out & how i can make avaliable. any help will be appreciated & thanking in advance.

I don't know if it's by design are simply a bug, but the toolbox stays gray in my case too. Anyway if I drag and drop a task to the design window it works fine.

Thanks for your reply, i do have question. when you say design window whatyou mean by that. can you please tell me how to populate that design window.
