Are you using FULL RECOVERY and back-up the log frequently?

you have 2 choices:
1) either change the recovery model to simple and do a shrink on the logfile (if it's very big). drawback: you can't do a PIT recovery, so this is not advisable on critical databases.
2) leave the database in full recovery, but do several transaction logdumps per day (depending on the workload). Also make sure you have scheduled a full backup on a regularly base.

More information is necessary to understand what's going on here:
- What's the recovery model of the database?
- What kind of backups are you doing and how often are you doing them?
- Is the database publishing any replicated objects?

Perfact Wilfred van Dijk and Kendal. Try to make a note of it why you need DB in FULL Recovery mode? Itf it;s in FULL how frequently you need Tlog Backup for the DB. How much Tlog imp for your. What is poin in time recovery Object SLA you have selected.
