Hi folks,
I have an requirement.
My application would grant access to a user in my_application database.
The product got personalized and the the customer added another database in the system for his own need. Both will accessed from the same application and the same user.
The problem is whenever a new user is granted access to my_application database, he should also have access to the user_database also.
Is there any method to accomplish this in a simple method.

Can you be more specific
My application would grant access to a user in my_application database
That is are you using an Application Role, or Windows authentication, or .... for your application?
What does the user desire for the additional database. You say
Both will accessed from the same application and the same user.
Will you be altering your application to access the new database since it obviously does not have the same name as "my_application"?
