SSRS with matrix and Export to Excel

    Can anyone please tell how to export SSRs with Matrix in the report to excel.?

    There is a drop down list on the tool bar which allows you to select Excel, then click on the export button. Should work fine.

    for all reports it works. not for the report where matrix is used. i get the below error.

    Data Regions within table/matrix cells are ignored.

    I've also tried a table region nested inside a matrix. In that case the report exports to excel but the table area displays the same message as above. The rest of the matrix data exported fine though. Try removing the nested data regions within you matrix - worked for me.
