Hi,
We have installed and configured reporting services, we are able to connect to report server url from server however with same user when we try to connect the url from another box it keep asking user name and pwd with no success. It started happening recently and before it worked fine.
I found a solution which says to edit the file rsreportserver.config and remove the RSWindowsNegotiate element. This solution is for SQL server 2008 and i dont find this element in SQL server 2005 rsreportserver.config file.
How can I fix this issue in SQL server 2005?
Thanks, Madduri

it worked with out asking for user id/pwd when i changed the security setting for the default websites on the iis to use anonymous authentication. i think this is not the prefered way. Is there anyother solution to this.

Domain or workgroup ?
R U passing the machine name from the remote machine, or the domain name -
machine\user or domain\user

I am just passing domain\username and the password. It worked with out prompting for username and password when i changed the settings on the default website to use anonymous access. but i find that everyone is able to access the url and view the reports even though i did not set them up on the report server. I would like to allow only few people to run the reports. How can I do this? Is there any other way to give access to the url with out using anonymous account?
Thanks, Madduri
