A friend at work just pointed me to this post at the SQL Server Manageability Team Blog. Ken Henderson has apparently died? Is this true? I'm looking up at three books by him sitting on my shelf. He was a pretty major resource to me over the years. He's really and truly going to be missed.

Oh man! That's terrible news. I met him at Pass last year. Such a nice guy and so humble. Spoke about his work on management studio, and his plans for updating the Guru's guides later this year.

Jim Gray (exactly 1 year ago) and now Ken.

It's true. I heard about it from people at MS on Sunday.

The funeral is tomorrow in OK, flowers have been sent on behalf of the community.
