Hello,
I have 2005 Express with Advanced services installed on the server. I have followed the instructions in BOL and these forums to configure IIS and SSRS, but there is one area I can't seem to configure; Roles.
As far as I can tell, Express doesn't allow you to assign roles (sys admin, sys user, Browser, Publisher, etc). But I am having connection problems that seem to be related to the fact that my account is not assigned to the right roles.
So, am I right in assuming that the Express version doesn't allow you to assign roles? BOL says that you can't define custom roles, so are roles also automatically assigned? How can I tell which roles my account is assigned to?

Please elaborate on what connection problems you are experiencing.

Reports I deploy say that my account does not have enough permissions, and the Report Manager page is blank save for the title on the top.
Note that I have done all other configuration steps except for the role assignment because I cannot find where roles are configured.
