Hi there,
I'm trying to setup a small proc to send a quick info by email to 25 recipients.
I would like to know if this can be done using a distribution list in MSExchange, if yes what is the format for the email address for the dist. list?
Thanks for any help here!
Now time for a 4 day weekend 🙂

You should be able to use distributionlist@yourdomain.com just like any other email address set up on the exchange server. The distribution list is setup on the exchange server right?

Hi Jack,
yes the list is on the exchange server. The name of the dist. list has spaces though. Is that a problem? How do I have to format the address with spaces?

In the "email addresses" tab for the information in your GAL you should find the email address for the distribution list without spaces. It could be anything. You could also ask the admin that created the group in Exchange.
