I've installed and been working with BIDS SS 2005 and would like to install the full version of VS. Should I uninstall BIDS first or just install VS.NET over it? Are there any particular issues?
TIA!

I have previously just installed .Net - I didn't need to uninstall BIDS.
I think that BIDS is effectively .Net with reduced functionality, so effectively all you are doing is an upgrade. Just ensure that the versions are compatible (i.e. BIDS 2005 & .Net 2005)

They don't even have to be compatible versions. I'm running VS2003, VS2008 and BIDS, and they all run OK.

It is best to install them in the correct order. Trying to install the SQL 2005 tools after installing VS 2008 is a bit tricky. There are also some catches with TFS if you use it.
