I think anyone who posts actively in the various on-line forums for
Microsoft products (such as SSC.com) hopes one day to be named a
Microsoft MVP, myself included. However, obtaining that MVP status
isn't easy, as there are tons of very knowledgeable folks producing
excellent content, whether it be answers to questions, articles, books,
or presentations. Here's an interview with Sean O’Driscoll, Senior
Director of the Customer Service and Support Community and the MVP
Program, discussing a bit about how the selection process works.
BTW, I was directed to this article from Jason Haley's blog.
Once a twice a day he puts up a blog post with links he has found of
interest. I have yet to see one of his postings on "Interesting Finds"
where I didn't click on at least a couple of the links.
