dts security to access database

    Hi everyone,

    i have a dts package which runs perefctly when run on my machione, but when scheduled to run on the server it fails when it gets to the active-x code to open a access database and run an autoexec file. I have checked all the permissions for the server and access database.

    Has anyone else had this problem because i can't solve it and neither can the Database Adminstrator that i work with.

    did you check the path to the Access Database and the Autoexec File.

    use a UNC insted of mapped Drive. something like\\Server\path\file.bat

    Yes i have done this before, sorry i forgot to put that in the original post
