Reporting on a WCF Web Service

    Has anyone successfully connected to a WCF web service to accept data? I have attached to other web services to report from, but I cannot seem to connect to this one. Any help or hints would be appreciated.

    When attempting to connect to a WCF web service, ensure that the web service is using basicHttpBinding instead of WSHttpBinding. Reporting Services (at least SSRS 2005) cannot connect to a web service that implements WSHttpBinding. Took a fair bit of research to find it. Hope that this helps someone who is banging their head against a brick wall like I have been. 🙂
