Is there a script that returns all databases in a domain?

  • grouped by server?

    Thanks,

  • no, because there's no central resource to ask for the information.

You'll want to use a utility like SQL Recon to find all the servers in your domain. Besides finding out which are vulnerable, with that list of servers, you could create a script that logs into each and tries to list the databases.

Since each server might have different setups/credential requirements, it might get difficult unless you are running as a domain admin, and the group builtin\Administrators wasn't removed from any of the servers.

  • SQL - NO.

DMO/SMO yes, but you are going to have to write some code.  Even VBScript.

  • If you registered your server and databases in AD you can had an AD Administrator give you the list. If not, then the other options posted are your best bet.
