hello,
I have installed SQL 2005 Developper edition on a Windows 2000 Server (where i already have SQL 2000) but when installation is finished the problem is that i can't find the SQL 2005 management Studio.
How to solve this?? knowing that i went to data folder of 2005 and there are databases and no problem occured during installation.
Note that i did the same type of installation on a windows XP and the management studio was installed. (windows xp have SQL 2000 as well)
Please advise

Check if you've Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 SP1 or later, as it is required for SQL Server Management Studio, Business Intelligence Development Studio, and the Report Designer component of Reporting Services

thanks a lot for the hint.
I actually did install SP1 for IE just few minutes ago and now am re-installing SQL 2005.
I guess this was the issue.

You don't have to re-install the instance, just use add/remove client components to the existing instance
