I graduated with a bachelor's in 06 and I'll be eligible for tuition reimbursement in mid 08. I'm not sure whether I want to go into management or just be a specialist. Since I'm early in my career I can go either way.
My question is what would you do?

The catch is - it's YOUR career, so it's what you would do. That's a purely individual question that can only be answered by you.
that being said - you're kind of hitting in the right area when you're asking about the degree type. A MBA would tend to put you more in touch with the other areas of typical business organizations, meaning you'd be aspiring to be in one of the "more business integrated" roles: data/software/infrastructure architect, senior developer/business analyst/project guru, etc... In other words - not necessarily management per se, but not huddled in a corner interfacing only with your workstation either.
If you enjoy the scoping/architecting aspect or if management (the word, not the people) doesn't make your blood run cold, then certainly - an MBA might be worthy, in particular one of the customized ones interfacing with the appropriate IT area.

Your lack of planning does not constitute an emergency on my part...unless you're my manager...or a director and above...or a really loud-spoken end-user..All right - what was my emergency again?

I tend to agree with Matt, pick what makes sense for you.
Heck, if you're getting reimbursement, go for both. An MBA with concentration in MIS probably gets you a long way to the MS.

If you read any of those "top 10" type lists for IT skills, they almost always include pursuing an MBA. I think that the perception, right or wrong, is that most people in the IT field know nothing about business. By getting an MBA, you will definitely have more doors open to you.

I agree with Matt, Steve and Scott.
After completing the MCITP (DBA) track, I will be pursuing an MBA. With a Bachelors in Information Technology and a Bachelors in Management under my belt already, a masters level diploma is the next logical step. As I move forward in my career, data warehousing and business intelligence are the direction I want to go.
I also "see" more doors that would be open to me by going the way of the MBA versus a more advanced technical degree.
Heck, with a masters degree, I can even teach!
My 2 bytes.
