Hi,
I have a local SQL Server (Developers edition) in my laptop (running Windows XP) which I use for development in Microsoft Dynamics Ax (an ERP product).
A while ago I had this error message 'Cannot generate SSPI context'. Based on this article (http://blogs.msdn.com/sql_protocols/archive/2005/10/19/482782.aspx) I disabled TCP/IP provider. Since then I was able to work from Ax without any problems.
All of a sudden, this morning I started getting the following error message -
---------------------------
Microsoft SQL Server Login
---------------------------
Connection failed:
SQLState: 'HYT00'
SQL Server Error: 0
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver]Timeout expired
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
Ax uses ODBC to connect to SQL Server. I tried creating a DSN from ODBC applet. I get the same error message.
To my knowledge I did not change anything related to SQL Server. Can some one tell me how to resolve this issue please?
Many thanks,
Harish
