    • Go to the SQL Server 2005>Configuration Tools>Reporting Services Configuration and verify the name of your Report Manager. You may need to check the IIS, too.

    • Ummm. http://servername/report is the 'Example Default'

To verify that reporting services are running check the SQL Server configuration manager, the RH panel should show you an Icon with a Green arrow in it, if it is running.  Look at the Name in brackets, that is the instance name. Double click it and select the 'Services' tab  the host name is the machine you are on, presumably your Dev machine.

Goto the Reporting services Configuration manager are first 6 icons a green tick.  If not reporting services are not configured correctly.  If they are then unless you have altered the default installation, change the name between the [] and it should take you to the home page on your machine.

      http://[YourMachineNameGoesHere]/Reports/Pages/Folder.aspx

      Hope that helps
