I was removing trial versions of MS Office 2003 & 2007 so that I could
install a New Full Version of Office 2007 . I think I removed more than I
was supposed to. After removal and reboot, I got this "ERROR"...
"SQL Dumper Library failed initialization. The installation is either
corrupt or has been tampered with. Please uninstall and then re-run set up".
I get this every time I boot up.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Under Add & Remove Programs there are 3 entries that involve "SQL"
Microsoft SQL Server Native Client
Microsoft SQL Server Setup Support Files (English)
Microsoft SQL Server VSS Writer
I don't know if I should remove all of these or one of these or what.
And I don't know where to go to reinstall SQL or if I even need it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
I do not know what SQL is .. I do not know what version of SQL I have. Could anybody help me get my computer back to normal
Thanx

I'd remove all the "SQL" related entries.
You can also check the Windows Event log to see what application is issuing that error. Have you previously installed an application that uses SQL Express?
If Office needs any of the SQL bits (which I don't think it does) then it'll be re-installed when you put Office 2007 on.

I removed the SQL Entries, The error has gone away, so hopefully I won't need The SQL stuff. I had originally posted this message on 6-7-07, but I never got a reply, so I already installed Office 2007, so I am crossing my fingers..
Thanx for your help
