newbie to Analysis Services.

    Bear with me. I have never looked at Analysis Services and have now been asked to setup a Proof of Concept Analysis Services 64 bit SQL 2005 to see if we can replace our ESSBASE. Any gothas in installing it ? Any advice ? I am open for any little advice things that are not in the Microsoft Documentation.

    Somehwta off-topic but one that we got caught on -> if you happen to be using SSIS on a 64bit box and want to use Excel (and i think maybe MSAccess) as a datasource, change the debug and/or main execution to be 32-bit mode otherwise you'll end up with driver errors.

    Also, don't forgot to read through the Best Practices and Performance guides/docs.
