Sql2000 and Sql2005 Media

    Hi All,

     

         I have a problem; we are at implementation process at our organization; our application providers required a SQL Server2000 to exist but we have a SQL Server2005 licensed media at our organization.

    How can I use/register SQL Server 2000 during I have SQL Server 2005 licensed media.

    you cannot install sql 2000 from a 2005 disk. You will need to acquire a sql 2000 disk. You can however use the sql 2005 user cals for sql 2000 as they are backward compatible.
