When I try to create a cube, I get the error:
"One or more tables have been incorrectly selected
fact table that do not have dimension tables associated with them:Fact Table"
db was in access.
Thanks

For the first clue about what is going on, open the cube deigner, go to the dimension usage tab. Measure groups are listed in columns and dimension groups in rows. Each measure group should have at least one associated dimension, and each dimension should have at least one associated row.
If you have an intersection of a dimension and measure group, select the greyed out cell and then click the ... button on the right of that cell and a wizard will guide you through establishing the relationship.

I think you need to define relationships between the tables; foreign key/primary keys in the actual database or on the data source view.

Thanks to both of you for the response. There was no PK and FK between the tables. I foung that out the hard way. Which book should I study to pass the SSAS certification. Which is a better certification BI or SQL server.
Thanks
