Hi,
A page can store 8060 bytes of data(132 is reserved for headers out of 8192). If a record is 3000 bytes, can a page hold only 2 records or it will hold 2 records plus a portion of the 3rd record also??
Thanks,
Ranga

Two records. SQL Server does not span records across pages.
