Hi,
on a system that has been using Reporting services for a few days successfully, all of a sudden the Reporting Services service is not starting. The client says nothing has changed on the system. The event log shows:
Report Server (MSSQLSERVER) cannot connect to the report server database.
I looked in services.msc and the Reporting Services was stopped. I tried restarting it there (which I later found out I shouldn't have done). Then I tried restarting it in Reporting Services Configuration Utility and it won't restart there either.
Any ideas what could have caused this and how to fix it?
