I'm curious how you do your ERD's for your databses. Assuming you have at least a separate development & production environment. When you make changes to development, do you have a separate ERD for development and another ERD for production, or do you just keep a production ERD?
I'm curious how you handle this in your respective companies.
Thanks

Each developer has their own personal SQL Server on their system. There is not a single unified development system. Pre-production (test) is backfilled from production every Monday and is controlled by the QA department with frequent restores and regression testing. So maintaining an ERD would not make sense as it is never static long enoung.
