Can someone explain to me what this table is all about and why it has an xtype of 'U' in the sysobjects table. Whenever I query for just users tables this table ends up on the list and I obviously did not create it.
BOL has nothing on this table.

I think this has something to do with VSS. You may also notice there are some dt_xxxx store procedures.

Its used for storing diagram info. Seen Brians article:

I read somewhere that when DTS was being designed it was done by a team outside SQL, so the tables got treated as user even though it acts like a system table.
