Hi,
I am trying to get rid of the red 'x' in my Publication folder and in the Snapshot Agents folder but I am unable to, every time I right click on the name of the Publication, then I select 'delete', I get error message as follow:
Error 21776: [SQL-DMO]The name 'XXXXX' was not found in the Databases collection. If the name is a qualified name, use [] to separate various parts of the name, and try again.
Same thing, I got the snapshot agent job fail, and I want to delete the red 'x' in the snapshot folder, there is no 'delete' option. Is there a way to delete it ?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Apparently, this will disappear if you restart the SQL Agent (not MSSQLSERVER!). The fact that the publication does not exist suggests that you shouldn't see it, but apparently the refresh is not what it should be.
Having said that, I have never proven what I have just told you. If you're in a production environment, I don't recommend doing this unless you have absolute control of the situation.
