  All-

  I have typical the log shipping enabled between a prod server and another server.

  If I restore the log sipping source[production] say with a 6 hours back full db backup + diff [1 hour], what will be effect of this on the log shipping?

   

   Looks like I will end up reconfiguring the LS in this case, right?

  May I know the reason why you are taking a restore from the full backup and differential backup??

  The reason could be database failure. And I guess while restoring in such situations db cant be online and hence no transactions for that matter.
