Hello,
On a SQL server 2000, "Exec xp_cmdshll" use to work to execute a DTS, but "suddenly", with the account "sa", it doesn't work at all.
Even exec xp_cmdshell 'dir *.*' doesn't work !!
Have you any clue ?
Thank you.

PS:the result is always 'Null'

You didn't say what the error was you were getting so it's going to be very difficult to assist you. You can, however, look at this thread for some information that might be related:

After rebooting the server xp_cmdshell works again ....
